All field trips include:
- Hay ride (weather permitting)
- Train ride (weather permitting)
- Age appropriate educational explanation of crop growing
- Playground access (weather permitting)
- One Apple Cider Donut per student to be eaten at teachers discretion
Scheduling:
All School Trips must be scheduled on Thursdays or Fridays. A minimum of 20 students and adults or $200 is required for booking, a nonrefundable deposit of $50 is required at the time of booking. Each group may schedule its arrival between 10am and 3pm. Please arrive early and have your group leader enter the Apple barn to sign in. Final payment may be made by one credit card charge, by cash, or by one check with drivers license.
Payment:
Each student costs $12.
Each Chaperone or Parent costs $12
For Public and Private Schools Teacher Employees and Teachers Aid Employees are no cost.
For Homeschool Groups 2 adults are free per 10 students.
A $50 nonrefundable deposit must be paid when you schedule your trip.
Eating Area
Woody's has a finite accommodation for lunch seating. The seating is first come first served.
Bad Weather:
In the event of bad weather or lightning occurring on the date of your trip, please call Doug at 630-247-9302 before leaving your school to the Apple Orchard. Woody's will work with you to reschedule your tour or refund your deposit.
